Honours Programme

As a student on the Honours Programme you will have high academic ability usually demonstrated through an excellent GCSE profile or its equivalent.
What is the Honours Programme?
Two tutor groups each year are dedicated to the Honours Programme. Honours students receive specific preparation for interview and application to Oxford and Cambridge as well as other top UK universities from a specialist team and are encouraged to develop specific interests and aptitudes beyond the basic requirements of the syllabus.
The college is very aware that students develop their potential at different rates and students who demonstrate outstanding progress and ability are also able to join the programme at a later date. Such students are currently identified during their first year of study at the college and receive support from specialist Honours Programme tutors.
