Vocational Courses

Young people will develop the skills needed for work, gain a wider range of qualifications and be motivated to stay in education.

For students who want to follow a more work-related syllabus we offer a number of specialist vocational courses which are equivalent to A Levels. These include  Childcare, Performing Arts and Sports Development and Fitness and Applied A Levels in ICT, Applied Art and Design, Science and Health and Social Care. Other vocational courses include all Level 2 courses such as ICT and Hair and Beauty.

 

Work experience is an integral part of these courses and many students go on to secure apprenticeships or employment on completion.
