Leadership & Management Courses for Catholic Schools & Colleges This Masters degree provides a programme that integrates a Catholic philosophy of education with the principles and practice of effective school leadership. It offers an opportunity to gain new ideas and to discuss issues and challenges associated with contemporary Catholic education with fellow professionals, in a supportive environment. This modular programme exploring ‘Catholic School Leadership’ is taught by experienced staff from St Mary’s University College. It is offered at the Saint David’s Catholic College campus starting in October 2010. The programme will consist of four modules taken over two years. You will be able to gain postgraduate qualifications if you study two or more modules and successfully complete all assignments. How often do I have to come to college? For each module you would attend four Thursday evening twilight sessions (4.30pm to 7.30pm).These usually take place once a month. Refreshments and ample parking are provided. To achieve an MA a third year of study plus a dissertation is required. All of the work is designed to enhance your own professional role. It is also possible to follow the modules as INSET. This offers the same opportunity for professional development, without having to complete assignments and a dissertation.
