21.01.10 Students Question Local Politicians

Seven History and Politics students were invited to participate in a new online show called Uni-Q on Friday 22 January.

Before attending the studio recording at Coleg Glan Hafren, St David’s students submitted questions online to Julie Morgan, Cardiff North MP and Votes at 16 campaigner, Jenny Randerson, AM for Cardiff Central and Leanne Wood, Plaid Cymru’s sustainability spokesperson.

 

Uni-Q  is the first political show produced specifically for students. Best described as ‘Question Time’ meets ‘The Sunday Night Project’, the show tours all over the UK putting young people in touch with politicians. The show is filmed and then broadcast online at The Independent Student site.
