Accommodation

We understand that the quality of your accommodation is a very important factor contributing to your success at the college. We all want to feel safe and secure away from home. Cardiff is a considered a popular and safe area to live and study. The college can help you to find accommodation. There are 3 options.

1) Friends or relatives.

2) Self-catering accommodation.

There are a number of private halls of residence in the city which will accommodate students, usually over the age of 18. Follow this link as an example.

3) Homestay.

Homestay is accommodation with a Cardiff family that enables the students to fully integrate into British society, improving their use of the English language and learning about the British way of life.

Should you require this service we can allocate a family before the student arrives in the UK and organise an airport transfer straight to the host family.  To access these facilities you will need to complete an accommodation application form and a transfer application form.  Email (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) for these forms.

Homestay accommodation has many benefits, here are some of them:

• A room of their own

• Breakfast and evening meal.

• An all-inclusive cost

• Easy access to the college.

• English language practice

• Guidance and advice

• A family experience

Whilst the college will endeavour to find you Homestay accommodation this cannot always be guaranteed. The cost of Homestay accommodation is between £100-£150 GBP per week.  This is payable in advance directly to the family.  Payment is negotiated with the Homestay family.
